CHAPTER 24: I’LL FALL IN LOVE AGAIN/ Come on Down to My Boat I had a lead foot and I knew that tickets were a way of life for me and that was something that probably just wasn’t going to change. With that, I reserved myself to the fact that I was occasionally going to get a ticket, but this shit that had just transpired was uncalled for and I was quite pissed. This cop could quite have easily given me a warning, but he did not, so I became a little bit of a smart ass. Then, after he let me go, Calista and I quickly started joking about it (which broke the ice). I also took solace in the fact that was about to see her naked for the first time, so all was good. Calista had gone a very long time without sex at this point, and she was not shy about telling me that she was ready for some action. She told me that she wanted to get the cobwebs cleaned out; and luckily for her, I was more than willing to help her out with that; plus my duster was at full attention. When we final

Paul McCartney’s 5 Greatest Albums Outside of the Beatles And now for the dramatic conclusion to my countdown that had been flowing somewhat steadily all week. I have named McCartney's top four albums so far and for the last time, these albums have not necessarily been his albums with his biggest hits, but they have been his strongest albums from beginning to finish (in my opinion of course). So without further adieu, here is number 1! 1)Wings Greatest Hits Alright, I know what you are saying....This isn’t a studio album and you are cheating. Well, on most lists, I would agree. Normally, I wouldn’t add a greatest hits package to a list like this. However, this is the motherload of greatest hits and some of these songs were never actually placed on an actual studio album. Instead they were simply released as singles without an actual home. Then to top it off, these are some of Paul’s best songs outside of the Beatles and some of them were released on albums that were

Paul McCartney’s 5 Greatest Albums Outside of the Beatles Sorry I didn't get a chance to make a post last night, I know you are all traumatized. So in order to rectify the situation a bit, I am adding two additions to McCartney's top five albums and again these albums may not contain his biggest hits, but they are the most solid albums from beginning to finish. Today I am listing number 2 and 3. Numbers 4 and 5 have already been posted with number 5 being 'Venus and Mars' and number four being 'Tug of War.' 3) Back To The Egg Okay, I know that some people might be scratching their heads here for this album did not sell very well and you will never find any song on it on any greatest hits package. However, this album that was released in 1979 kicks ass and there is not a bad song on it, unless you have the special edition version that has ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reggae,’ then there might be some room to disagree with that stateme

Paul McCartney’s 5 Greatest Albums Outside of the Beatles So yesterday I started a countdown of Paul's five greatest albums outside of the Beatles and named Venus and Mars number five. Again, I am looking at the albums with the best songs from beginning to finish and not necessarily the albums with the biggest hits. Tonight, I am continuing the countdown with album number four. 4) Tug of War This album was released in early 1982, on the heels of the horrific murder of John Lennon. It was also largely the first album that Paul dropped the Wings thing and released this as a solo album after a multitude of band member changes. This was also the last album that he recorded with Denny Laine, who was the only constant member of Wings other than Paul & Linda. This album clearly had some of Paul’s best work and the title track was a master in itself. ‘Here Today’ was a beautiful tribute to his musical soulmate John and ‘The Pound is Sinking’ was an awesome song about t

Paul McCartney’s 5 Greatest Albums Outside of the Beatles Okay we all love the Beatles and I think that it is very hard to deny that McCartney as a whole has probably the single greatest collection of songs under his belt than any other musician in history. Almost every album he has done since the demise of the greatest band in history has had something very special to offer. Iconic songs that we either love and can name within a couple of notes or songs that we are at least very fond of. However, despite all of this greatness, I believe there are five albums in particular that stand out about the rest that hold a level of greatness from beginning to finish and here there are in the order that I feel they should be in. 5) Venus and Mars Despite this album only having one major top forty single, ‘Listen to What the Man Said,’ this album was full of wonderful little gems. It had some very cool rockers like ‘Rock Show’ and some other songs not to be taken too seri

CHAPTER 13: THE GIRL I LEFT BEHIND ME/Three Strange Days Melody had gone through a lot in the last few months and she needed Christmas to be a very certain way, so I played along with that and on the big day we spent a little time at her house and a little time at mine; however, we also went to her ex’s parent’s house for Christmas dinner. Not only did she stay close with her ex and his kids, but she also stayed very close with his parents and his sister, so we spent our very first Christmas together with her ex-husband and his parents. Again though, I did realize this was weird and highly unorthodox; however, I just chose to look at the situation as being rather amusing. There was one point during dinner where I was on the side of the table against the wall and couldn’t freely move about, and then her ex-husband (who was sitting on the other side of the table) got up and asked me if he could get me another drink. I accepted his offer but deep down inside all I wanted to
